Having been elected Commodore last fall I would like to thank our previous Commodore Chris Rine for all her work with PCKC over the years. For those who I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting, my wife Keri and I moor our boat Andiamo (a 34’ Pacemaker convertible, pictured above) at Port Superior on the bulkhead on dock four. We have been boating in the Apostle Islands since 2001, getting our first boat in 2004. You’re Commodore, 
   
Please mark you calendars and plan to attend the winter party this year, hosted by Jim & Gini Beran, from s/v Dasein, Slip 193 Dock 4 PSMA. (Pictured above left) Good eats are planned and it’s always good to see you all and get caught up on winter activities. Hope you can make it! The launch lunch is scheduled for May 12. Lunch is FREE to members and $500 to non members, jk… $5.00. Everyone is welcome! This is always a good time to pay membership fees, if you haven’t already done so!

Please note that we need volunteers coordinate the lunch on May 12th this year. At this point we have no one scheduled to host this event and if no one steps forward, it will have to be cancelled. In addition to our launch lunch, PCKC will be scheduling a this year. Details are still being organized but the date is set for SATURDAY, JUNE 23TH. We’re looking at either a group sail to one of the islands, and/or a gathering that night at a designated anchorage.
