Hello to all PCKC members and Happy New Year! There are just a few items of note this time of the year – other than the “I’m already looking forward to spring!” refrain.
PCKC WINTER PARTY
Please mark you calendars and plan to attend the winter party this year, hosted for a second year in a row by Al Frisch and Sue Schinske. Good eats are planned and it’s always good to see you all and get caught up on winter activities. Hope you can make it!

This is the same weekend as the Minneapolis Boat Show, so if you’re in town for that, be sure to attend the party afterward!
LAUNCH LUNCHES
There are two launch lunches scheduled this year, one hosted by PSMA and one by PCKC. And we’re hoping to add one additional lunch date. Lunch is free to members and $5.00 to non members. Everyone is welcome. This is always a good time to pay membership fees, if you haven’t already done so!

***Please note that we need volunteers for the lunch on May 8th this year. At this point we have no one scheduled to host this event and if no one steps forward, it will have to be cancelled. 2010 ACTIVITIES
In addition to our launch lunches, PCKC will be scheduling a SUMMER SOLSTICE SAIL this year. Details are still being organized but the date is set for SATURDAY, JUNE 19TH. We’re looking at either a group sail to one of the islands, and/or a gathering that night at a designated anchorage. Be sure to put the date on your calendar – more info will be out at a later date.
We’re still considering other events for the summer. As always, if you have suggestions or want to volunteer for events, please let me know. I can be reached at commodore@pckc.org or 952-807-8345.
